June 2, 2010...Emma and I ventured out the front door this morning (something not often done, we have a strict back door policy for Rachel's safety) to take some picture's of our beautiful flowers. While doing so I spotted a few weeds in our ground cover, being the master gardener that I am, I promptly bent down to pluck them out. To my horror there were more, LOTS!(Compliment's of the Rose of Sharon bush). This inevitably lead to me wanting to get all of the new little seedlings out. Emma grew impatient waiting for me to try and complete this never ending task and threatened to ground me. Can a daughter ground you? My heart skipped a beat as my excitement grew... just think of all the things that I could accomplish if I were grounded. Oh the joy! But then I had to come back to reality, quit picking weeds and go run errands. Darn.
